The event was catered making everyone happier!

The ringing of a Christmas bell got everyone

A great night was had with good cheer, great spirit and even a little

There are no words to express our gratitude to Ted for all of his years of friendship and service.  His 80th Birthday was celebrated by everyone.  We are lucky to have him with us!!

We went from Condo to Condo for great food and celebration.  Arriving at the appointed hour to bring in the New Year in the Social Room.

A great time was had even though the weather was cold and the wind was blowing!  The Reggae Band helped keep us warm with Marilyn heading the Congo Line!

 

   

  

 

THE FIRST TGIF AND BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR MAUREEN

Our first TGIF was enhanced when everyone celebrated Maureen Smith's 80th Birthday.  A great night for all, especially our beautiful friend and neighbor, Maureen.  Great to see everyone happy to return!

 

 

 

 

   

VALENTINE'S DAY PARTY

There was love and laughter in the air!

Wonderful food, champagne punch and red roses for the ladies.  Dan & Sharon entertained everyone with hosting the game of Toss the Cupid!  But the most special event of the night was the welcomed return of our President Jean and her beau Bob.  All was good.

Please Note:  The Event Fee is $15 and it includes lunch. The Fee will be charged to your account.  If you cannot stay for lunch, you may take it home with you.

Friday March 4, 2016

Golf: 8:00-10:30, Men’s and Ladies Divisions.

Couples: 12:30-2:00.  Check the tee time sheet.

Non Golfer Putting: 10:00 am

Golfer Putting:  11:00 am

Chipping:  11:30 am

Pitching:  1:00

Corn Hole Toss:  1:30

Boccie:  1:30

Lunch:  11:00 – 2:30 (Friday Only)

Pietro's On The River

On behalf of the Social Committee, we would like to thank all of you for your support of our gatherings this Season.  As it comes to a close, we can only hope that you had as much fun as we!  To those who may have attended for the first time, we appreciate you giving us a try and hope to see you again. 

We are certain that all of you have noticed that our community is growing.  Most of the Condos were full during the winter, and it appears we are going through a transition.  We welcome this and hope that we can learn to peacefully co-exist and appreciate the multi-generational, diverse community we have become! 

As we make plans for our upcoming Season, we would like to invite all of you to bring to us your ideas for celebration.  Whether it’s an ethnic holiday, custom or just an idea for decorations or for a party, we welcome new ideas.  We at the Social Committee want all to learn to appreciate how fortunate we are to have one another and to be a part of our Oceanside I Family. 

We will have our first meeting in November with plans for a Thanksgiving dinner followed by a Fancy Holiday Party.
